Why Tin Giants?

Tin is both ancient, modern and malleable.

Tin (Sn), a chemical element belonging to the Group 14 of the periodic table carbon family. It is a soft, silvery white metal with a bluish tinge, known to the ancients in bronze, an alloy with copper and in pewter, an alloy with hardening agents such as antimony, bismuth, copper and lead.

Giants are literally awesome.

Giants, (in folklore) imaginary or mythical beings with human form but superhuman size and strength.
